Stumble It! According to Georgia’s Commissioner of Agriculture, the Quaker Oats Company is recalling some packages of Aunt Jemima Pancake & Waffle Mix, which includes “Original, Original Complete and Buttermilk Complete.”
Officials say these products may have the potential for salmonella contamination.
Here’s what you need to look for.
The affected products were sold in 2-pound and 5-pound boxes, with best before dates of “Feb 08-09-H” through “Feb 16-09-H” stamped on the top.
Consumers should return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
• 30000 43272: Aunt Jemima Buttermilk Complete, 5 lb.
• 30000 05040: Aunt Jemima Original, 2 lb.
• 30000 05070: Aunt Jemima Original Complete, 2 lb.
• 30000 05300: Aunt Jemima Buttermilk Complete, 2 lb.
The affected products were shipped to 17 states including Texas, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Illinois, Florida, Missouri, Minnesota, Colorado, Wisconsin, Ohio, New York, New Mexico, Kansas and Utah.

I have two of those recalled boxes. Now what ? If i take them back to the store will the store give me my monies back? How did they find out this? Is allof our food poisend. I cant trust anything.

I often have used Aunt Jemima Pancake & Waffle Mix to make pancakes for my kids but I am so glad I did not make any this morning. I have checked the two boxes on hand, though, and they are not part of this recall.

I have a box of the Original Complete Mixes that was in the recall and I live in PA and our State was one that was mentioned here, so I think everyone should check their cabinets!
