A senate probe of six prominent religious leaders who head up so-called “Mega Churches” is causing some concern among their parishioners.
Two are here in Atlanta.
Iowa senator Chuck Grassley says he launched an investigation into Dr. Creflo Dollar and other ministers and the business practices of their non-profit organizations after public complaints and news reports that allegedly show lavish lifestyles by the ministers.
“Our lawyers right now are involved in some discovery. But at this point yes we’re very willing because we don’t have anything to hide. Like I said the IRS, the government, they already have this information.”
Dr. Dollar, who runs a mega-church in College Park says his books have complied with the i-r-s for the past 10 years.
The other Atlanta pastor, Eddie long of “New Birth Baptist Church” in Decatur is also under scrutiny.
A spokesperson for long says he has many “safeguards” in place to comply with i-r-s rules and he will work with senate investigators to provide them the information they are requesting before the December 6th deadline.
Some of his church-goers say they have no doubt about their pastor.
“I don’t feel like I’m paying for it because I know that my money is going towards, is helping to keep the lights on in the church, keep the church clean, help with our children in higher learning. You know it’s just a lot of things, dealing with the elderly.”
Also targeted in this probe are Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and Paula White.

Since I’ve met CreepLo Dollar taker.....I won’t mention my name. Profit of the almighty dollar is his goal. He has become Super Wealthy from “Donations” he claims to use for the good of others. More accurately, for the good of Creflo Dollar’s fleet of BMW’s and Mercedes, Nice Home in Atlanta that is best suited for a multi-millionaire. His greed is well hidden when he continues to brainwash the masses into believing in him and the Magical unseen deity he claims to worship. Money is real, and can be seen.

If the money collected by these churches was used to provide shelter to the homeless and folks in unsafe or should-be-condemed housing, no one in America would be homeless.
What WOULD Jesus do with all that money?
Wear it on His hands, on his back, pay for a mansion???? Build an incredibly expensive “church”? “Invest” it?
Read your Bible, don’t just pound on it.
