                    <p>Although most high school football teams in Northeast Georgia will start their season this Friday, one team has already played.&nbsp; The East Hall Vikings took advantage of a GHSA loophole and started their season on Saturday.&nbsp; The Vikings fell 17-13 to Murray County on Saturday night in Chatsworth.&nbsp; It was Murray County&#8217;s first win since 2005.&nbsp; As for the Vikings they went 1 and 9 last season, but although they&#8217;re off to a rough start they do look to do better in 2008.

A great night in Danielsville tonight.&nbsp; It was Jake Westbrook night.&nbsp; The Cleveland Indians pitcher was honored at his alma mater, Madison County High School.&nbsp; Westbrook is in town for the Indians preseason series with the Braves and stopped by to see his Red Raider number 12 jersey retired.&nbsp; He still lives in Danielsville in the off season, and we caught up with him to talk about being honored by his old school.
